A Month Full of Rides
This month-long celebration will promote local cycling amenities and routes in four different riding formats: road, mountain, gravel, and community, which includes parks, pump tracks, and other family-friendly rides.


Intro to Community Cycling with Erik Leamon
Saturday, Sept. 30 at 2 p.m.
Location: Conway Regional Health & Fitness Center
Meet in the East parking lot of Conway Regional Health & Fitness Center for an Introduction to Community Cycling with cycling enthusiast and owner of The Ride, Erik Leamon. Whether you are cycling on the road or on a trail, it’s important to know the basics of community cycling as well as how to enhance your experience while riding the roads. All questions are welcome in this informative meet-up. Appetizers following, provided by Brick + Forge in the CRHFC Classroom.
Intro to Indoor Cycling with Amanda Castillo
Saturday, Sept. 30 at 2 p.m.
Location: Spin Studio, Conway Regional Health & Fitness Center
For those seeking an indoor ride, meet inside the Conway Regional Health & Fitness Center in the Spin Studio. Instructor Amanda Castillo will “show you the ropes” or the ride, rather, on the Spin bikes for an alternative indoor cycling experience. Appetizers following, provided by Brick + Forge in the CRHFC Classroom.
The Rogue Roundabout Kick-Off Ride
Sunday, Oct. 1 at 2 p.m.
Beginner Location: Tucker Creek Trail at Conway Regional Health & Fitness Center
Intermediate/Advanced Location: The Rogue Roundabout
Indoor Cycling: Spin Studio at Conway Regional Health & Fitness Center
Join us for the Biketoberfest Kick-off Ride for all level and indoor cyclists. Intermediate and advanced cyclists will start and finish The Rogue Roundabout, located at 804 Chestnut St. in downtown Conway. Beginner cyclists will enjoy a ride along the Tucker Creek Trail with a start and finish at Conway Regional Health & Fitness Center. All cyclists are encouraged to meet after the Biketoberfest Kickoff Ride to celebrate with delicious food at The Rogue Roundabout. Rides led by Erik Leamon and Lori Ross. Indoor cycling class led by Amanda Castillo.
Women’s Ride + Yoga
Sunday, Oct. 8 at 1 p.m.
Location: Tucker Creek Trail at Conway Regional Health & Fitness Center
Indoor Cycling: Spin Studio at Conway Regional Health & Fitness Center
Plan brunch with a few girlfriends and then, meet up with other women at Conway Regional Health & Fitness Center for a leisurely ride on Conway’s first and most popular trail, measuring 3 miles in total. Perfect for new cyclists, Tucker Creek Trail offers users an option for a short 3-mile ride beginning at the Salem Road trailhead or a 6-mile route beginning at Gatlin Park off Tyler Street. This route is the perfect place to build confidence. Start with a shorter route riding from the Health & Fitness Center down to Hogan Lane and back. Then, level up by riding the entire length of the trail. There are also mountain bike trails alongside Tucker Creek for most of this route. Tucker Creek Trail ends at Walmart right near the Bunny Slope Mountain bike route. This ride ends with Yoga with Amanda Castillo, and a sweet treat for both outdoor and indoor cyclists.
Intro to Mountain Biking for Kids (Grades 4-12)
Thursday, Oct. 12 from 5:30-7 p.m.
Location: Pompe Park
FREE Beginner Mountain Bike Fundamentals Class for Kids. Recommended ages are 9-15. Riders must sign a waiver and have a proper working bicycle and helmet. Gloves recommended but not required. Please arrive early to sign in and get a free bike safety check. Bring enough nutrition,snacks, and hydration to complete the event. Participants will work on skills and fundamentals in a field and put those new skills together to ride a trail. If you don’t have a bike and would like to participate, let us know. Saturday, Oct. 14 at 10 a.m.
Location: Stone Dam Creek Trail
South Conway is one of the fastest growing residential areas in the city. Did you know your home could be within just a couple of miles of one of the area’s newest trails? Bring the whole family and invite a few friends for an easy Autumn morning out and back along the Stone Dam Creek Trail. Meet at the UCA Tennis Courts at 10 am. Choose the length suitable for your family’s skill level. Ride the trail over Donaghey across the pedestrian bridge. Then, take the new trail extension to South German Lane. Make plans to stop for pizza, tacos, or any one of the wonderful restaurants along the bike trail. Finish up with custard at Andy’s Frozen Custard and take your time getting back to where you began. Ride led by Jon Ross Henderson.

Saturday, Oct. 21 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Beginner Course | Intermediate & Advanced Course
Location: Point Remove Brewing Company
Meet up with friends for a morning ride from Point Remove Brewing Company located right off Hwy 64 at 102 Crestliner Street in Morrilton. Choose your route, easy or advanced. Each ride will be led by an experienced cyclist who knows the best routes in the area. Once the ride is complete, finish up at Point Remove and enjoy a delicious brunch and festive Fall brews. Bring the whole family for brunch, and everyone can enjoy Oktoberfest activities, live music, and games on the grounds of Point Remove.
Mountain Biking Ride
Sunday, Oct. 22 at 4 p.m.
Are you a seasoned rider or have you always wanted to try mountain biking? Join Erik Leamon and try out Conway’s newest trail. More info on the location of this new mountain biking ride is coming soon!
Taco Ride
Wednesday, Oct. 25 at 5 p.m.
Location: Caldwell Toyota
Indoor Cycling: Spin Studio at Conway Regional Health & Fitness Center
The Taco Ride is for All Level cyclists. Choose your own adventure and ride 1 or more loops. Ride led by Erik Leamon and Lori Ross. Indoor cycling led by Amanda Castillo. All cyclists meet up after their ride at Caldwell Toyota for tacos!
Menifee Gravel Ride
Saturday, Oct. 28 at 8 a.m.
Location: Menifee Municipal Building
This ride will offer a 36-mile and 48-mile route. Advanced and intermediate cyclists are welcome. Ride led by Tim Gorman.
